What is the total?

48. There are two isosceles triangles.
They are equal in area.
In both triangles all edges measure an exact number of cm,
and the two edges of equal length are 13cm.
In one of them the third edge measures 10cm.
What is the length of the third edge of the other?

44.Between 6 and 3. Think alphabetically: six, ten, three.
45. 2.9167 metres. (or 35/12) It is a little surprising to find that this height is independent of the distance apart of the two poles.
